Involved territories

The partnership implementation must demonstrate the project's cross-border nature, which means:

  • involve at least one partner from each side of the Channel, in the area mentioned below,
  • demonstrate a high level of cooperation between partners: joint development, joint implementation, joint personnel, joint funding.
     

For each project, partners shall appoint a single lead partner to be the project's administrative leader, and shall sign a contract of partnership. The lead partner may be located either in an eligible area or in an adjacent area.

The only difference between eligible and adjacent areas lies in the fact that the programme may only fund expenditure emanating from adjacent areas to a maximum 20% of its total budget.

It must be noted that projects applying for eligibility under the joint priority shared with the Two Seas Programme must involve players coming from the two eligible areas:
